David Barton
Tim Ballard

David Barton is my favorite historian. He has made American history come alive for me and has opened up my eyes to so much of our "lost" or "revised" history that makes me want to know more about our AWESOME beginnings. David Barton is the Founder and President of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage. 

Timothy Ballard graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in Spanish and political science, then went on to receive his MA (summa cum laude) in international politics from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Tim has worked for the Central Intelligence Agency as well as an agent for the Department of Homeland Security. He is also the author of The American Covenant: One Nation under God.

Alveda King

Col. Oliver North graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and served 22 years as a Marine. His awards for service in combat include the Silver Star, the Bronze Star for valor, and two Purple Hearts for wounds in combat. He is a syndicated columnist and has a documentary series "War Stories with Oliver North" on FNC

Ernest Cline is a new upcoming author "Ready Player One" and "Armada" and movie maker (Fanboys).

 

Ernest Cline is from Ohio and grew up in the same time period as I did. He has taken "Pulp Culture" to the Sci-Fi max and interweaves the 1980’s genre with futuristic fun about video gaming and alien invasions.

 

Ernest Cline came to German Village for a book signing and spoke to us for about an hour before he signed autographs. He told us about growing up in Ohio and working in Columbus where he got his ideas for his books and movie. While signing, Ernest was extremely personable, friendly and patient (I was 125 in line from about 300 people!) He signed my books, answered my questions and made small talk with me. What a great guy!

Tania Beck
Pat and Stew on Glenn Beck

Tania Beck is the wife of Glenn Beck. She is a humanitarian, religious and humble mother and wife that supports her husband's work.  Glenn had to work out last minute details at an event and could not show up for the breakfast, so Tania stepped in his place. She was very gracious to take a picture with me.

Pat Gray and "Stu" Burguiere are co-hosts on the Glenn Beck Show on the Blaze Radio Network. TheBlaze is a news, information and opinion site dedicated to seeking out the truth.

She is best known for writing "Blacklash" A book about African American dependency on the government that is turning America into a welfare nation, a "government plantation” Dr Tom Borelli is a managing partner with the investment advisory firm of Action Fund Management, LLC

Eric Metaxas is from Conecticut, and graduated from Yale University. He is the author of the New York Times bestseller, Amazing Grace: Wilberforce and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He is the founder and host of Socrates in the City. He appears as a guest on CNN, Fox News, The Blaze TV and MSNBC. I was front row at his lecture and got his autograph, but did not want to bother him for a pic. because there was a long line.

Matt Kibbe is the President and CEO of FreedomWorks, a national grassroots organization that serves citizens in their fight for more individual freedom and less government control. He is an economist and is a well-respected policy expert, bestselling author and political commentator, and a regular guest on CNN, Fox News, The Blaze TV and MSNBC.

John Hagee

John Hagee is an American founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a megachurch with more than 20,000 active members. Mr. Hagee is also a part of the Christians United for Israel (CUFI) He has written several books including but not limited to, "The Three Heavens," and "Four Blood Moons."

Ken Ham is an Australian-born young Earth creationist, Christian fundamentalist and world renowned speaker. Mr Ham has a bachelor’s degree in applied science, holds a diploma of education from the University of Queensland he has also been awarded two honorary doctorates: a Doctor of Divinity (1997) from Temple Baptist College in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Doctor of Literature (2004) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He operates the Creation Museum. Noted for debating Bill Nye the "science guy."

Kent Hovind
Big Chuck and Lil' John

Kent Hovind was a science teacher for 15 years and began a full-time creation ministry. He was travelling all over the world doing seminars on creation, evolution and dinosaurs. He debated more than 100 scientists concerning evolution versus creation and created the well known 7 part video creation series translated into 32 languages. Kent holds three degrees in Christian education (1974, 1988, 1991.) In 1989, Kent moved to Pensacola, Floridafrom Illinois with his wife, and has three adult children and five grandchildren

Big Chuck and Lil' John are from Cleveland, Ohio and host a late night T.V. show that shows scary movies intertwined with funny skits. This show has been on televison for more than 30 years, previous to Big Chuck and Lil' John, the show was called Hoolihan and Big Chuck and before that, Ghoulardi was the King of the airwaves in Cleveland. This picture was taken at one of the Emmy Awards banquets that I was asked to attend.

Raj Nair

Raj Nair is the host of Liberty Tree House on the Blaze Network. Raj graduated with a degree in journalism from The Ohio State University, Palestra moved him to Los Angeles to become their West Coast producer. Raj covered everything from The Grammys, The ESPYs and the MTV Movie Awards, to numerous movie premieres, all while undertaking videography projects for Rolling Stone and Us Weekly.

Alex Boye is a composer, singer and actor. Born in London, based in the United States. He was raised by his Nigerian mother. Alex's music is gospel and "Africanized" pop. He was one of the singers at the "Restoring Love" event.  

Kalai

Kalai was born in Hawaii, raised in Alaska and he currently lives in Utah. This eclectic past dovetails perfectly with his unique sound. The performer calls his style “song-based music” that comes with a personal brand of and allegiance to versatility.He was one of the singers at the "Restoring Love" event.  

Darth Vader

Darth Vader/ Anakin Skywalker This villain does not need any introduction. If you follow Star Wars... You know who he is and what he did. My family and I had a Star Wars Christmas and saw the "Force Awakens" at an early premiere on Dec. 17th. There were lots of 'characters at the premiere.  

Thomas Jefferson

Statue of Thomas Jefferson at his home in Monticello. Jefferson born 1743; died July 4, 1826 was an American Founding Father, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence (1776), and the third President of the United States. He was a true renaissance man.

Captain America

Marvel Comic's Steve Rogers, AKA, Super Soldier, Captain America. He became the living symbol of freedom during WW2 and was frozen after saving the world from Hydra, only to be found and revived for the 21st century. He's the original first Avenger.

Thor

Marvel comic's Thor is the Norse God of thunder and lightning, Thor wields one of the greatest weapons ever made, the enchanted hammer Mjolnir. He is prince of Asgard and protector of the Nine Realms

Marvel comic's Hulk. He's the 2nd superhero I got to know back in the late 70's early 80's with the Bill Bixby, Lou Ferigno t.v. series.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is an Austrian-born American actor, producer, activist, businessman, investor, writer, philanthropist, former professional bodybuilder, and politician. Though I did not get to meet Mr. Schwarzenegger he walked by me about three feet away. I've been a big fan of his for his bodybuilding and movies.

Spider-Man

Marvel Comic's Peter Benjamin Parker became Spiderman after a bite from an irradiated spider granted him incredible powers. When a burglar killed his Uncle Ben, Peter vowed to use those abilities to protect his fellow man, driven by his uncle's words: With great power comes great responsibility!

 

Batman

DC Comic's (Detective Comics) Batman is Bruce Wayne's alter ego. As Batman, he fights crime in Gotham City to rid it from evil.

Brutus; The Ohio State mascot... Well... a wood carving of him anyway. Go Bucks!!

Chewbacca

Star Wars Character: Chewbacca (or "Chewie", as he was known by his friends) was a legendary Wookiee from Kashyyyk and co-pilot of Han Solo's ship, the Millennium Falcon.

What can I say? I love movies and didn't know they had a mascot. LOL
